Birds Nest Ring

Made a new ring today. It's a birds nest!
I think I will make some for the (ever in progress) shop.
What do you think? Would you buy one?

Just One of Those Days

It's just one of those days that's perfect for staying in bed, under all the cozy blankets, and doing nothing but read a good book.
Unfortunately I've had to be up since 6 a.m. so this was not an option for me.
*sigh*

Along those lines, wouldn't it just be wonderful to have your very own library crammed full, floor to ceiling, with lovely endless amounts of books?

I think so.

Happy Easter

There are a lot of victorious moments in history, but none so great as the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Happy Easter everyone.
Go eat some jelly beans (so there are less for me. I prefer chocolate.)

P.s. Someone buy me a baby bunny please. I need one.

Mary Mary Quite Contrary How Does Your Garden Grow?

Recent obsession: Terrariums.

Since I kill pretty much everything I try to grow besides bamboo and cactuses (a green thumb is not one of my gifts...), this looks perfect for me. How hard could it be to kill a little moss right?
And they're so cute and petite!
Your very own little wonderland inside your home.

Wanderlust

I've always wanted to travel, and see the world and go new places and see new things. I love going to new places. Even if it's just a new restaurant down the street.
I adore airports. I always get so excited being in one, thinking about what kinds of adventures the planes could whisk you away to. Even if I'm not actually at the airport to go somewhere on a plane, but just meeting a friend or family member there, I still love it.
I in fact recently bought some travel books at a book sale which have done nothing but affirm this desire of mine to go new places......
(Especially Ireland.... and England... and pretty much anywhere in Europe)

                         (I also love people watching...)

While we are on the subject, a friend recently showed me this blog which I absolutely have fallen in love with and have started reading. I pretty much want to be Julia and Yuriy.

And lastly, I love these thoughts from good old Mark Twain:

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

I intend to do exactly that.

A Sense of Beautiful

a person should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day in order that worldly cares

may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful which God has implanted in the human soul."

So here is a picture.

Here is a song.

And here is a poem.

Book Box

As a gift for a dear friend I made this book into a box.
It was fun.
Best .50 spent ever.

Say Yes To The Dress

So I was watching Say Yes To The Dress the other day (I hardly ever watch tv but I was somewhere that had cable and I figured why not) and let me tell you, it made me want to get married. Or at least have someone bring me endless amounts of pretty dresses to try on and flounce about in.
I love weddings, as I have said before, and I in fact have six to go to this year (one down five to go) and I'm even in one of them. I'm pretty excited.
As cliche as it sounds there's just something about seeing two people who love each other so much that they want to commit to spending the rest of their lives together, and say it in front of all of their closest friends and family, that makes me happy.

On a similar note if you have some spare time, or if you don't care about wasting time, check out this post. So many lovely dresses.

I particularly love this one, but I wouldn't wear it to my wedding... more like a grand ball or something.

On another similar note, my friends joked that my Prom dress for senior year was in fact quite wedding dress like…

*Edit: Make that seven weddings.
