Dear readers, I have some very exciting news this morning!!
That's right! I'm headed to England in a few weeks!!
I can hardly believe it's happening.
I've been using an excessive amount of exclamation points ever since it became official.
It's something that I've been praying about for quite a while now and it finally just fell into place without me doing much of anything really. It's so awesome to see what God can do when you leave things up to Him.
I've had a desire to travel more over the past few years and so it's so exciting to see this dream become a reality! I can't wait to get over there and have some new adventures.
There will definitely be a lot of picture heavy posts about it!
And I can't wait to go find a yarn store.
....................
Have you been to England?
What should I not miss doing while I'm there?
Any travel tips?

Oh, that sounds awesome! Congratulations!! :)
ReplyDeleteI can only recommend you to stop by in Brighton, Cambridge, Oxford and Bristol - if you can tour through the south coast. And of course, LONDON <3 They have Sephira stores and oh so great make up, oh so jealous :D
Yes London is definitely on the itinerary! Thanks for the tips girl:)

This is so awesome! Congrats! What are you going for? I hope you have so much fun and take a TON of pics for us to see, because I've never been to England. All I know is European chocolate is better (but is English chocolate?) and I've always wanted to see the replica made of the Globe Theatre, but just because I'm a theatre nerd.

DeleteOh I will definitely be taking lots of pictures! I currently am having trouble deciding which cameras to take...
And I just googled The Globe Theatre... how neat! Haha
Were are you going? I live just outside London so if you ever need anything, just let me know. OH and how long for?
ReplyDeleteMy twitter is @kellipandaaa if you want anything :):)
Thanks Kelli! I appreciate it:) I'm going to Liverpool to start and we shall see from there!
DeleteExcellent! Well, i'm down in Essex near London if you need anything:)
DeleteI left my heart in England two summers ago. Make sure you go to Oxford, if you can. I was living in Kensington, right off of High Street, and it was incredible. Have a picnic in St. James's Park, over by Buckingham. The Holocaust exhibit at the Imperial War Museum is also not to be missed. If you are an 'outdoors-y' girl, definitely rent a bike and go to the Peak District. Also, go to a coastal town. I went to Mablethorpe, but a lot of people like Brighton. Okay. That's all. Oh, and see War Horse and/or Billy Elliot, and don't forget the tissues! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the lovely tips Jordan! I'm excited. Hopefully I can hit some of these up! :)
DeleteA picnic in the park sounds especially nice.
That's so exciting! I love England! It's so amazing, while you're in London make sure you go to Harrods, it's so much fun to just look around there.

ReplyDeleteOMG how bizarre, I just stumbled across your blog and this post, and I am going to England in a few weeks too! I hope you have a fantastic time :)
ReplyDeleteYou are going to have a great time. We went to England last May for 12 days. My nephew and his family was living there and they planned our itinerary. We did London while there took a boat tour (there is also the London Eye). We went to Sherwood forest (yes, home of Robin Hood) and saw the Major Oak. We visited many castles, one of my favorite was Warwick Castle because of the "bird show." We also went to Paris while there and even drove to Scotland for 2 days. If you need advice or contacts while you are there let me know. My nephew made great friends there while living there for almost 2 yrs.
