Remember my resolution to try ten new Richmond Restaurants?
Well, this past weekend I tried another one!
Here in Richmond there's something called Richmond Restaurant Week.
There's one week, twice a year, where local Richmond restaurants participate in putting together a three course menu that you can purchase for the price of $25.12 (the cents change with each new year. So last year was $25.11, get it?) and they donate a portion of that to Meals on Wheels and The Virginia Food Bank.
Pretty neat huh?
I was sad to have missed the opportunity to go when I heard about it for the first time last year, so this year I was hopping at the chance to go with an excuse to try a new restaurant.
Saturday night was date night and so (after an hour or two trying to decide) we went to the Water Grill!
It was delicious.
I am still dreaming about those mashed potatoes...

(P.s. Please excuse the poor iPhone photos!)
The next Restaurant week is October 22-28 so make sure to mark your calendars!
