So I didn't exactly thrift this.
I found it on Etsy in this lovely shop.
However it was a super great find and a really good deal!
Definitely thrift like status.
I've wanted a set of blue china for quite sometime.
I don't really know when it started or why, other than the fact that it's beautiful. And blue (my favorite color). And because it's something I equate to elegance and having tea in an old beautiful fancy parlor.
Just the romantic/old lady in me I guess.
And while I would eventually like to have a full set for a table full of people, I decided that two full place settings is a good start.
Maybe I'll get the teapot next. ;)

Beautiful! I like china too, my mother used to collect it. My house is full of cups& small płatność, each set is unique!

ReplyDeleteOhh, nice! I love blue china. I have the fondest memories of my mothers blue china tea cups she had on the top shelf of her kitchen buffet cabinet. And occasionally we were able to drink cups of tea out them. Defo get the teapot next!
